The Last Straw
Getting help as a college student to recover from alcohol and substance use can be difficult. UNC Charlotte’s Charlotte Recovery Program is committed to helping students engage in a lifestyle dedicated to wellness that is alcohol and substance-free. “The Last Straw.” campaign was a project where I designed a variety of marketing materials, such as a social media post, digital signage, and a billboard to promote this campus resource within The Center of Wellness Promotion, with the phrase “The Last Straw,” which refers to an ending and no longer accepting an obstacle or situation. With this phrase, I also incorporated a different drink in each design, with a straw either being pulled out of one of the drinks or turning away from it to indicate a small yet powerful decision to take steps in living an alcohol-free life.
